Notospermus tricuspidatus

Hi everyone i have posted before about a black worm comming out of my liverock. with some assistance it has been identified as Notospermus tricuspidatus. The reason for my post now is i need it out of my tank!! i have been having an outbreak of algae and got a cleanup crew to fix it..turbosnails and some scarlet hermits. to my suprise all but 1 out of 10 snail had died, with little reason why til i discoverd the black worm had been feeding on them. I have had some recommedations from my LFS but none seem practical. rarely do i see it and the best piece of advise i had gotten was to wait til i know what rock it is in and remove it from my tank. put it in a bucket and leave some food in an old fish foof container and let him crawl out for the food. problem is it moves from one rock to the next and quicky becomes aware of my presence even before i touch the tank. it retracts and hides with just my shadow being cast. Any solutions that would not require me to uproot my tank would be appreciated as the cost is piling up for replacing the fallen snails. also i should mention that all the LFS i have gone too (everyone in my city) does not rent or lend or sell traps for worms. thanks a ton

This might be a REALLY stupid idea . . . Why don't you try to have a small water bottle or something in the water full of fish (salmon, cod, I don't know) and then try waiting until he goes in by shutting the light off. That's what I'd do. Also, you could keep it in a bucket of icewater to kill it, I don't know.
