Hi there im still looking into getting somekind of invert for my tank. I have finally looked deeper into my Engineer blennie probleme and discovered they the MIGHT eat SOME invert but the would have to be REALLY small (like less the a centimetre...) and delicated (molting) invert so im not affraid that charlie will eat them. Now i want to know has anyone ever kept a pistol shrimp and a prawn gobi they are apparently really nice to have together and for a symbiosis which i really would like to have. What im affraid is that if i get both and they dont do it or if i get a match for pistol shrimp and prawn gobi that dont go together cause there are different spiecie of each and would like to get a matching spiecie? Or are they all compatible and will get the helping each other out which ever spiecie i get?

Hi I saw your post and wondered if you got the pistol shrimp and gobi in the end? I would be interested to find out how you got on. If you are still thinking about it I have a really good book that lists all of the gobis that pair up with the pistol shrimp. There are quite a few different types (about 15 in all) I guess the best way to ensure a bonded pair is to buy them from the dealer already paired up.

I can recommend the book if you are still looking or list some of the types? I will probably do a similar thing soon, but just waiting for my tank to mature a bit longer
