I recently entered 5 serpae tetras into a 75 g tank with all healthy fish. Today I noticed a fuzzy growth on 3 of them on the mouth. I assume it to be mouth fungus,,,, How is it treated?? I would appreciate some replys on this, because I couldnt find any good sites online for this disease,,,

Personally I find mouth fungus to be the hardest to treat. Usually by the time it is caught, it is too late. The fish will begin to not be able to eat and eventually die.I think u should isolate them and use some meds but it ain't soundin to good. Sorry!

well,,,I found a medication that seems to be working ( melafix ), I am down to 1 fish left that still has it, and it is almost gone.. I have been treating them with this for 5 days, probably 1 or 2 more days and it should be gone..
