woke up this morning turned the lights on and noticed this little seastar on route to some of my coral...most likely its not reef safe but wanted to ask before i jumped to conclusions. got a decent picture of it laying in my net.

Try this link: http://www.starfish.ch/ its is a good web site for ID - if not send photo and they will help. Not all strafish of course are hazardous to reef. Interesting seven stubby arms - almost like pincushion but doesn't appear to have same structure - could be juvenile/lost arm/or extra, sorry can't help - haven't seen one of these.
