My sss used to be all over my tank (24g; 3" deep live sand bed, live rock, soft corals, 2 damsels), around the rocks, sometimes even up on the glass. Lately I haven't seen him much, he's stayed pretty much buried.

Is he hungry? What should I feed him? I tried putting mysis shrimp on the sand bed near him once, and he acted like I was trying to electrocute him! I'm very concerned though, that he's going to just die in the sand and decay there.

I have one of them actually I only had one for just 3 weeks I think and He was never fed by the previous owner and the star fish has survived ever since I think the star is like 1 yr old or more not sure about that, I think it was because he had a couple of fish there so Im guessing that the star fish ate the left overs in the sand and live rock. Though you may what to try supplement feedings. hope this helps!!! Good luck!
