Sea Horsies

Ok, so I'm bumbed out because I didn't know horsies got that big (up to 12"). Then I find out people EAT THEM! ( what do they taste like? I wonder!) But, wouldn't it be better if people would buy tank horsies as opposed to wild ones since they're destroying ecosystems just to fill their bellies? Anyways, the actual question is, which one is the most sought after horsie? Maybe I'll raise those.

I suppose. Wouldn't it be better to open up a buffet rather than letting them continue destroying natural habitats? In the end, they'll still get them, might as well provide them in a human way, like raising cattle.

No worries. You have no Idea how much more I respect a person who can state their opinion firmly no matter how opposed to my own (for so long as its stated with out arrogance, ignorance, etc etc etc). So brownie points for you in my book. Still, I'm not sure yet what i'll be getting. I still havent even begun buying books or even seriously looking at tanks, let alone what kind of life I want in it.

So now thanks to a post of yours earlier (you going salty) I went to another site to look up more info... Now I can't decide. My first choice (which I made over five years ago) was lion fish... now I'm thinking about it again. I have also thought about horsies (even before I read about the carnage) because they are so rare. I am such a fan of that which few others have. Now I see all these other pics of such beautiful fish I can't make up my mind... (ok Aaron deep breath! lol) If it weren't so darned expesive I'd probably try my hand at multiple tanks. But if it weren't so expensive so many people would do it and then I wouldn't want it... hahaha... I know, I'm vain like that. But I least I admit it (but i don't want help for it ahahahah)
