By the way this tank will be running for about a year before they out grow the tank. If it had been freshwater I could have easily kept for like 2-3 years. Quote:

I think it was about 400 for a 35 gallon set up. I would have gotten it but then i remembered it was 400 dollars and my landlords would have killed me if i got another tank. |

| love your tangs (I like all tangs). What kinds do you have?
I plan in getting a naso soon. I already ordered one in fact. (blond naso). It's going to be in my 125 until it reaches about 7 inches, it'll be in a 250 or hoping for a 300.

I have a sailfin tang and a Mimic Tang (I think it is a Chocolate Mimic Tang, the place where I bought it told me it was just simply a Mimic Tang and that they are the same. They are wrong there are several Mimic Tangs). Quote:

| Sail fins are awesome. Their shape is similar to the shape of yellow tangs, but they're fins are a lot more beautiful.
I'm all so getting a tomini tang for my 65.
I can't wait for my naso. It's probably in quarantine in the LFS because I ordered it 2 weeks ago. |

Also, I'm not sure if this is a typo, but did you mean a 350 instead of 3500? A 3500 would be incredible! |

Also a Sohal Tang, Clown Tang, Chevron Tang. Then others but the bove most definitely. They are awsome, but they do take alot of space and volume from a tank. Quote:

It will have it's own mechanichal room and it will wrap around on 3 of the walls. A 10 feet wall section will be seen as you enter the house. Then it will wrap around a hall way that takes you past the master bedroom and into the family room. That wall will be completely visible from the hall way and it is 20 feet long. Once in the family room the wall exposed to it is 19 feet. The wall will be seen from the family room and partially in the kitchen. Than it will wrap arond from the kitchen into the dinning room. The wall in the dining room is 12 feet long and it extends the full length of the dining room. In between the dinning room and the living room, will be the entrance into what is going to be the mechanichal room (or fish tank room). The room used to be a game room that measures 20'x19'. I might go with reef on this one, but not sure as I still have alot to learn about reefs. I am not sure about that, since all my experience has been with fish only tanks.
I made a floor plan that shows the fish tank room. It is in the center of the house. The entrence is on the left the master bedroom is on top and the family room and kitchen are on the right. The dining room is on the bottom of the page. Last edited by locoyo386; November 5th, 2009 at 01:18 PM.

| Tangs to me is the most beautiful reef fish. I love clown tangs. They're so active and playful. The clown tang in my LFS display tang loves to play with a mag float. When people move it the tang rushes to the mag float and swims around it. lol.
My naso is going to be picked up tomorrow.
What size of a tank is in your mind for an upgrade ? |

I currently have a 250 tank, but I will be doing an in room tank that will be approximately 3,960 gallons. You could see post #21, there is a PDF file that shows the floor plan and the room at the center is giong to be the in room tank. It will have views from all four sides. |

Well here I am and I just tore down my last of fresh water fish tanks I had. I am going to convert it into saltwater and now I am only keeping saltwater fish. I am starting to to think that they are smarter than fresh water fish. |

| I love how active the tank is and all the different colors of fish are brilliant. One day, a long time from now, I will have to get a saltwater tank. |
