My 28 marine tank

This is a 28g bow front marine tank. I have a clownfish(Coral), three striped damsel(Jiters),two turbo snails( Pink one Bubba and the other Rocky), and two blue leg crabs. I'm palnning on getting real corals soon. I'm also going to get a Pygmy Drwaf Angelfish, and another clownfish.

pygmy dwarfs are not reef safe and may pick on inverts aswell

I Love The Clown. He/She is so cool

I have 2 clowns myself and i am increasing that number to 4 very soon.

Does any one know how to get rid of all that brown wavy alage? Its been on my tank ever since I got my T-5s. It not really a problem I just don't like the color. Also do damsels eat alage?? My seens to eat the brown alage. I'm also going to buy two korlia powerheads. Is this too much??

Brown Algae needs light and food (nitrates and silicates) to survive. The cure for Brown Algae is the same as the prevention: Starve it into oblivion
try cutting out light for a few days should kill it off just turn on to feed fish ... try a phosphate test if high do water changes

Thanks, I don't what to be rude, but i did that once and it came back. Do I do it again and before I turn the lights back on buy more snails??

you could do with a couple more snails its diatoms which is common in new tanks,,
try cutting down on what you feeding all food should be gone in 20 secs
definatley do a phosphate test

iu would say u are under handed wih your clean up crew and i would also say get one of those brittle stars the mini ones they will feed on leftover food as well if a fish ever dies

Sadly, I didn't QT a royal gramma and it infected the clown with ick. This video is kinda old, so the tank and its inhabitants have changed. I got a firefish, but it jumped out of my tank. Now I don't have any fish. I'm just trying to get coral s and them fish. I just want to setup a reef them fish.
