260w enough for clam?

I have a power compact lighting system (half 130w of actinic and half 130w of daylight) and i just bought a crocea clam that ive place very close to the top. I am now going to buy a new (150 gallon) tank and im looking at lighting systems. Metal Halide is too expensive and i cant find a proper sized T5. Will a 320 or 380 (dependant upon size of tank) be ok if the clam is placed up close or is this system already sufficient?

Clams can only be haused under hight out put lighting and PC is not strong lighting. I d go with hight output t5 or hides. I agree the coust is grate. good luck

Yes you have enough light, barely enough. But you must place them correctly. If I'm right you have a 40 long tank and your water depth is 13".Which means with 60lbs.of LR you probably have some close to your lights.Try to place it high and in the center of your tank
where the lighting is more intense.
