Monitors and Controllers

So I'm still doing some research before I get home and start setting up my first SW tank. I've been looking at the ReefKeeper Elite V2

http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/PH/ORP...duct_info.html

It monitors most of the parameters I think I need to look at. Includes a wave maker and numerous timers. My question is is this system too much for a normal 150g tank SW set up? or would the basic ReefKeeper Lite do the job?

I havent been able to find many functionality reviews on this product. Do anyone have any advice? This seems to be a much easier way to control and monitor your tank instead of have 5 different systems its just you're paying to have it all in one. Sound about right?

Thanks

150G is pretty decent size tank for reef. How about putting more emphasis on the actual equipments such as calcium reactor, chiiler, ozone reactors, etc then look into devices which will suit/control your needs the best. Pardon me if already done so. Google for more info. there are other forums which focus on reef such as Manhattan Reefs or Reef Central. Ask and I am sure some one will respond from their perspective/opinions/experiences, not just a theory. Who knows, it may even be me. LOL

Just an opinion.

BTW, there is a decent article about reef set up in the August issue of FAMA.
Check it out!

Yeah I've done research on all the other necessary equipment, just looking to see if this "all in one control" was worth it. Thanks
