So i found out that i'll need to buy a new light fixture in order to keep corals. I have a 30 gal. tank so will this fixture be good enuf?

its output is 156 watts. or is that overkill nd not good??

Make sure it comes with proper bulbs for corals. I am not familiar with t-5 but I am sure someone will come along with more info on proper t-5 bulbs.

Definately not overkill. T-5s are a good alternative to MH lighting for smaller tanks, which a 30 gallon would certainly qualify as. You should have a pretty good range of coral possibilities with that fixture.
