so here is a list of the big $$$ items i am planning on getting for my 55 gallon FOWLR, but i do want to throw in a bubble tip anemone in the future.

AquaC Remora protein skimmer (eBay)
Nova Extreme HO T5 4x54 w/ Lunar lights (DrFosters)

I have the nova extreme T5 with 8x54watt tubes. It's a very nice lighthing setup with the fans and all, the only thing I don't like is the white moon lights... I wish they were the blue kind.

Did you check out the outer orbit lights on the Drs? Those look sweet, but prolly would need an aquarium chiller with those.

Also, you don't really need the canister filter... the live rock should handle the bio-load (assuming you get enough) and powerheads can provide the water movement. The protein skimmer will pull out the dissolved stuff.
