hi guys...i am having fine bubbles coming into my tank from my return line. all of my water tests are good and they don't seem to be bothering or harming my fish...but they kind of bother me. do they pose a risk to my tank? what could be the possible reason why i have them? thanks for all of your help.

Filter return or skimmer? How long has it been running? It is not uncommon to have micro-bubbles for a couple of days with a new piece of equipment (or after cleaning your equipment for that matter), but it should start to clear up after that.

yeah...return line from sump...they're so darn irritating...

You can try to put a sponge over the return pump intake. Just remember to clean it out every now and then.

Ok, I really can't see why your getting micro bubbles in you display tank. The setup looks good ! There's nothing wrong with bio-balls in a new setup. The only thing that looks not good is the level of miro bubbles in the CSS main chamber. The bubbles look too low. They should be higher so they don't exit the output tube. But I don't see any bubble in the return section !

hmm...ok...what should it look like? what kind of junk should be in my collection cup? do you have some pictures that i can see?

I was referring to the bottom of the main chamber, not the collection cup. Like I said before I can;t really see anything wrong from the pictures. The return section looks free of bubbles. Is it ?

its really weird...all seems to be ok...except for those darn bubbles being released in my tank...ugh...this is frustrating...oh well...grrrr
