my husband and I are in the process of building a Denitrator for our 55gal tank... we've been reading a lot about it but i have one question that i hope someone here could answer... will a 12in PBC pipe with 12meters (aprox 39ft) of 1/4in coil tubing work? (oh yeah we will be putting bio balls in too) or should we make it in 22in pipe with 23meters (aprox 75feet)? dunno if length matters as to the size of tank...

Either will work. If you have the room for the 22" pipe with 75' of hose, that's the one I would build. I was building a 12" one but was having problems with pushing the water through the 25' of 1/4" hose. Post photos of the build.
