Ah, but it wouldn't be me paying the freight charges.
My mum wasn't bothered about the extra money... I was worried about getting mine back though, as I had to pay for half, and £50 to an 11 year old is a fair bit. It was just how cold the other woman was about the whole thing. The first time we phoned to buy one, she said that we'd have to wait a while, until she got in her order of eight. EIGHT. (Meaning seven other people had flutes that didn't work. She also had 4 other instruments advertised.) Anywho, when we phoned her next to tell her it didn't work, it 'wasn't her problem'. We'd bought it, paid for it, it was our flute, so our problem. She said she didn't care if we took legal action, so we did
I think we've learned a lesson about buying cheap, useless things. We stick to well-known brands, and let other people have the bad experiences first, basically :P
So, what went wrong in court before?
