Hi Guys I'm new to fish lore and to the salt water hobby I've had my tank running for about 3 weeks now it has cycled. I have a 24 gallon nano cube with 3 turbo snails and a scarlet skunk cleaner shrimp had him for about two days but its not eating the soft pellet fish food I have what should I fed him and are shrimps hard to care for can I expect him to live a awhile with good water conditions? The snails seem to be doing great they went right to work eating algae off my live rock. I also have to clowns that seem to stay in the corner a lot what can I do to insure there going to make it to?

Hmm...mine eats just about anything, though I have never fed pellets. Usually frozen foods or occasionally flakes. It may still just be acclimating to the tank...they also do a lot of scavaging and he may be scouring the tank for scraps at night when you don't see him. If that's the case, I would expect him to gradually get a little braver as he settles in to the new tank. You could also try feeding something different just to see if it is the pellets he is objecting to.

Thanks for the advise I love this site I have done lots of research and this is the best site for info I'll try pellets my clowns don't seem to like to soft pellets much either. Do you know what brook is I read it in a reply about clown fish I'm scared and I don't know what it is I heard there is an outbreak I love my clowns and I don't want them to die.

Mine always ate new life spectrum pellets just fine.
