How do I adhere pulsating xenia to live rock?

We have a piece of pulsating xenia, which is attached to a small tile. We would like to attach it to a live rock, but do not know how to go about gluing the tile to the rock. What kind of "glue" do I use? and How do I "glue" the tile without lifting the xenia out of the water?

If you rubberband the tile to a piece of live rock so that the base of the xenia is touching the rock, it will gradually shift over onto the rock on its own. Then you can get rid of the tile. If you prefer to adhere the tile, you can get fragging putty or epoxy to use. Couple of examples here: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...578+4680+13723

Plastic toothpick would work too. Pierce the xenia towards the base and then stick the toothpick into the rock. Another thing less noticeable that you could do is to "sew it" to a piece of rock using needle and fishing line. Don't tie it to the rock too tightly though or it could split the xenia. The base should affix itself over a period of days hopefully sooner.
