One of the LFS in my area has a 1000 gallon shark tank ... Have a look  !
Black Tip Reef Shark ... 
White tip Reef Shark ... 
Nurser Sharks are below the 1000 gallon tank, in the sump ! They're about 4 feet long. 
Some Eels ... The green one is huge !   |

They were adding more tanks yesterday. You can see in one of the pictures, a bunch of empty tanks. They have two other large reef display tanks. | |

ha ha ha, if it's quite small and has such a huuuge display for sharks already, sounds like a shark specialist store. Imagine, a store that ONLY sells huge sharks. I can tell them alreayd that's not the sharpest business idea. 8) | |

One by me has a 675 display, 175 shark, reef cube, and another reef display. another store has two SW 125 displays, 125planted, 75 goldfish, 75 cichlid, 75 reef. Helps with customers actually | |

Yeah ... We're a little spoiled here in SoCal. There's a lot of Tropical Fish Stores ! Your commit about PetCo reminds me why we call PetCo (DeathCo). Seems like there's alway dead fish floating in their tanks.  | |

I love the Petco thing cause its so true. They dont clean the tanks much and they don't use precautions when it comes to mixing different species of fish.

hahahahah.....! | lol.. yes, Deathco has many fans in the aquarium keepers world.. with their poor treatment of fish, their double-charging practices, etc. etc.. they make petsmart look good. i'll stick with the DFS website and any good small shops we can find.. too bad there are none around us. it feels good to give business to someone else, knowing it's not going to deathco. | |
