I'm in SoCal too ! What LFS do you like the best ? Also today went to a LFS with a 1000 gallon shark tank, where you can feed the sharks for a $1. These were white tip and black tip reef sharks and 4 foot nurser sharks !!  |

Depends where you live in US unfortunately for prices. For me in Ohio it isn't too bad, I get hermits for .99$ Of course bmRboY you don't really have to pay for shipping heat and cold packs and the other stuff like we do so our prices go up quite a bit, that stuff isn't cheap. Of course, some people just are greedy or need to charge more to compete with large chains here, do you guys have petco etc.? | Thanks bud... and won't be buying any more corals then.... No we don't have petco... the shops here are individually owned but located all together.... so there's like 30 fish shops where I go to one next to the other.... They have everything here.... wanted to get a blue spotted stingray... costs $10 and they even have a couple of black tip sharks... approx 1 1/2 feet long... they go for $40.... Wouldn't mind setting up a predator tank..... fish only ofcourse.... | |

You should set up a predator tank, after you get this tank under control obviously. That would be pretty awesome. Your fish are definately cheaper than by me but your equipment sounds about the same, which is understandbly so, it's not like fish. Can you catch any of your own fish. | |

It's actually pretty tame.... I've trained it to eat shrimp... I just take the head off then feed it to him... He also gets Live treats once a week... I get 10 small blue chromis... He likes it.... he doesn't eat small clwon fish.... even if he's hungry.... | |

The ONLY LFS I know of here does not. The nearest PetCo is 45min away and they don't have anything I like (in reference to tanks) | |
