ATP's 65 Gallon build

Hi<

I started my 65 gallon reef/ frag tank over a month ago and everything is looking good. The tank i bought for $250 US which includes: 2xIce Cap 175 watts MH ballast, 1xUnknown 175 watts MH ballast, a sump, Tru Vu acrylic tank with center overflow, a skimmer (which I'm going to make a CA reactor out of it since I'm using my nautilus), return pump, broken enheim pump.

Unfortunately, the stand looks like........

Canopy.... not the best, but better than the stand

So I removed the doors, sanded everything until I couldn't see any stain left and than I stained it again. (I know, it looks like the same color lol) I replaced the hinges and put in the magnet things. (It's still pretty cool that I got it for 250

I'll post more this evening.

lol. sorry guys. Just got back from school.

So here are pics after I retained them and replaced hinges. I used three layers of Pecan gloss.

The plumbing goes from the overflow and down and an elbow than elbow again. There's a valve there I put for emergency. The PVC goes to the refugim.

So... the guy wanted to give me his cycled water, but I threw it away lol. It smelled so bad.... I mean really bad. He said it's because the water hasn't received any flow or filtration for a month because he's power heads are not available (??) and a rock was stuck on his return pump.

Filtration:
Overflow to PVC to refugim to skimmer and back to tank via return pump
