125 Gallon Aquarium

[This is not my tank now. It's old pic with bad stand. Newer ahead}

Just thinking I should share my tank.

Fish:
1-yellow tang
1-Naso tang (died 9/8/09)
1-foxface rabbitfish
1-engineer goby
2-watchman goby
1-dottyback
2-clowns
5-damsels

Coral:
1-green toadstool
1-candycane
1-brain
2-unknown toadstool
1-sponge
?-xenia
?-buttons
2-leather corals
1-colony of green milipora
1-frag of blue milipora
1-frag of Steve Elias Blue Stag
1-frag of blue tort
1-frag of purple nana acropora
1-frag of acropora valida
1-frag of ORA tri-color
2-frags of ORA rose milipora
3-frags of Monti caps

Invertebrates:
1-Coral banded shrimp
?-Hermits
?-Snails
7-Emerald Crabs (probably like 3 or 4 left)
2-Skunk cleaner shrimp (died)

The SPS are on the rack because I don't want to put them in my tank yet because we're moving it to a new stand I made. We're moving it this saturday.

125 Reef Tank Stand

These are old pictures of the tank because my tank isn't looking great right now. Things are everywhere because I was trying to get the naso out and I was thinking why should I make everything look good if I'm going to tear my tank down in a few days? I'll give more pics later. On the info, it says I'm running an ETSS 800, but that's when we take this apart and re assemble it.

After

about 20 hours of hard work, It finally paid off. My new tank has been moved.

I started taking it apart at about 6:13 A.M. on Saturday. I cleaned the tank, I removed the algae on the rocks and moved it to a new room around 3:00 PM I started filling it with rocks , sand , water at about 3:50. We ran out of RO/DI water at about 5 PM. So we had to buy them. At about 9 PM. We assembled the canopy and lights. We took an hour break at 11 Pm. At about 12:30 AM. We started to fill the tank with corals. We finished at about 2 A.M. We finished putting all the fish at around 3 A.M.

More pics

There will be more when halides turn on.

Unfortunately, I'm just 90 percent complete. I still have to hide the cable from the mp40 and I need to make a new sump for the ETSS

Thanks

You should get more corals for your 420 liter. That's what? around 120 or 110 gallons?

Beautiful! The stand you made is awesome. I'm curious though about the positioning of the tank. It looks like you have it in a high traffic area. ? Can you elaborate on that for me please?
Thanks for sharing your experience through the process.

Yea, it there might be a lot of people will be walking through there, but I think they should be able to see it to not hit anything. With the huge canopy on top I think it'll fine. Unless they like smash the doors

Or did you switch to the Royal "We" haha.

Beautiful tank. I would love to be able to do a saltwater someday. It's so scary though!!

I didn't notice that We meaning family and friends. All the I were suppose to be We.

Saltwater isn't hard. Just takes a lot of your money and you'll probably won't look at your freshwater anymore
