MizRamzi: The tank was fully cycled before anything was added. There were some snails and crabs added after the tank was cycled that were living in the
live rock. The live rock had the two cluster of coral I have on it and I gave it special attention and feeding to make sure it would live. About a week or so after that the clown pair was added. After another week I got more rock. Then I was asked to take a cardianal that was being eatten in a friends tank. I didn't plan on added that so soon but didn't want to see it die. About a week later the shrimp plus a few more snails were added (had alot of algea growth and the ones I had weren't keep up.) A few days later the anemone was given to me as a gift from my boyfriends mother. I didn't want to get one anywhere close to this soon. And I'm still always fretting over how it's doing. But from watching it move around and eat I think it is in good health. The last two fish were added at the same time, which is not ideal, But kind of had to work that way. They were ordered online because no place around here ever carried them. It was easier to pay for the shipping for them both together. They were put in a
QT tank before hitting the main one.
So yes, some critters in my tank were added a little more quickly then I would have liked. But knowing that I gave special care to water changes, checking stats of the tank, and do have a qt tank. They all get a very good diet of frozen and live foods. My corals have spread, become more colorful, and grown bigger since I've had them so I must being doing okay. I think having the anemone in the tank this soon is about the only REAL questionable thing I have done.
None of my fish have had any diease or died.
And if you have concerns about the things I have done you could ask me, as you see I'd be happy to try and explain, instead of posting asking others why they aren't critizing me.
