Some pics of my corals

So this is definitely an expensive hobby for a college student. More $$$ in coral here than everything total in my freshwater tank.

Some new Ricordeas

Great additions ! Looks like you found some really nice frags. Remember SPS's to the top of the rocks and watch your alkalinity very closely !

Haha. I have the starry night up top, but the rest are in the middle of the tank.

The birdsnests have great color and extension where they are about 1/2 way up the tank (I've had the Tubbs since mid December. It doubled in size in a month so I broke it in half and traded with someone for the frag of ORA green birdsnest.

A member on another club ran the PAR numbers with the same fixture in a taller tank with his lights suspended higher off the water and was getting 200 at the sand bed directly below the lights.

My clam I've had for a few weeks is happy where it is on the rocks just above the sand bed.

I got the Lunar Eclipses and Lord of the Rings zoas, and candy apple green monti for free. I traded a head of my frogspawn for a frag of the pocillopora. The Rics were on sale for $15-$20 each. The starry night, orange monti, green mille, and tri-color valida were all $20 each, so not too bad on the bank.
