85 gallon

hello forum
I have been in the hobby for about 9 years now and I love it. I set up a 85 gallon yesterday I tore down my 47 here are some pics http://s270.photobucket.com/albums/jj109/miner_skyline/

What does this do ? What are the pvc pipes for ?

I bought the tank used from the LFS all i knew at the time was that it was custom filtration. Their is a water pump that sucks the water into this filtration box the PVC piping acts like an irrigation system and sprays the media. At the other end their is more PVC piping that cascades filtered water back to the aquarium just like a waterfall. To me it resembles a lot like a sump only its on top of the aquarium.

as of now i have a
flame angle
3 green chromes
paired tomato clown
blue legged crab
and some coral
as for what i have planned for my tank it depends whats on sale at the fish store hahah
