Hello all. I just bought a new Blue Hippo Tang. I'm acclimating it as we speak actually...and I just had a quick question. I think I remember reading somewhere that it's natural for them to lay on their sides. Is this true? As I'm looking at it now it's just laying at the bottom of the tank...but it's still alive. Will this change once it's used to its surroundings?

Your Tang is fine. When mine was new to my tank, he hid in the rocks for about a week before he came out to eat. How is your Tang doing now ? How big is your tank ? I hope you bought a small one. They get really big.

Perfect...that's what I thought. It's been about 5 days and he/she is coming out a little by little. I've actually seen him/her a few times..it's kinda nice. It's really small actually. The pet stores around town all had large...like 5" or more...this one is about and inch and a half...maybe 2. But it's doing good so far...(knock on wood haha).
