OH WOW! I kind of thought that the colors were being emphasized somehow and that when I actually got one, though they'd still be beautiful, they would not look as bright as on the pic!

From what I heard/read(can't remember where(I think one of my books)), they can be very territorial towards others of its species.

They can, however, they'll tolerate other species, hence my hopes of having mandarin and psychedelic. Since I hope, too, that I can get a larger tank, maybe they'll get an opposite corner each.

I just got my red mandarin today. I'll post some photos up soon. I don't believe in letting the tank mature a full year. Can you link the info where you found that?

Actually, I'm not sure it was a link, I think it was on my books that I've been reading by John Tullock. I'll double check tomorrow.
