compatibility?

okay, currently i have a 29 gallon FOWLR tank. I have one small piece of pom pom xenia in my refugium (fish breeding net in top corner of tank), 3 hermits, 2 fiddler crabs, and a snowflake moray eel. yes i know she may eat my crabs and hermits. I was wondering if i could put a small triggerfish in the tank with her, possibly a small huma huma. In the past, I had a snowflake that got along with a yellowtail black chromis and a tomato clown, but the fish tended to hide. Is there a flashy fish (other than tangs, I've had bad luck in the past with tangs) that I can put in the tank that wont be too suseptable to ich? I have heard that marine betta groupers are good, but I want other people's opinions before I set my mind to buying a fish. any ideas on what I can put in there that probably would not catch ich and is flashy?

Re: compatibility?

First thing I was thinking is you should not add any fish that a snowflake moray can swallow. Snowflake moray compatibility would be limited to sweetlips, lions, puffers and tangs (because they get so big). Though others might do OK it's like you noticed, they will tend to hide.

Re: compatibility?

Most all fish are subsceptable to ich, sad but true. It happens in freshwater to.

Why not do hypo salinity to your tank for a few weeks, then get a hosptial tank and then qt your fish untill your tank is ready?

I also think your morray eel may out grow your tank so be carefull!
