New saltwater addiction!!!

Hello

On the 5th of August I filled my first salty tank with water, 1 month and a bit later I filled my second saltwater tank.
And Oh Yes, im now thinking about a 3rd saltwater tank!!!

My smallest tank is 15G and I have a false gramma in there.
Next is my 34G, I have 3 green chromis' and 1 yellow coris wrasse.

The 3rd tank will be 45G and the reason I have decided this is because I would like to keep slightly larger marine fish, the biggest fish I would put in a 34G would probably be a dwarf angel, so I was just wondering what kinds of fish would I be able to keep if I do start my 45G, would any tangs be an option?
Any other fish would be greatly appreciated .

I wouldn't personally keep any tangs in a 45 gallon, but some may disagree. Even the smaller species of tangs are very active swimmers and just need more space IMO.

A fairy wrasse of some kind would do well with a dwarf angel, if you're interested in those. Many species of gobies are also good tankmates for angels. Is this tank going to be a reef or FOWLR? Some species of angels have better reputations with corals than others; any ideas on what kind of angel you want? If you're going FOWLR, a dwarf lion would be pretty sweet IMO. Good luck!

Well I was going to see what suggestions came up and then decide whether to have a reef or not depending on how compatible the suggestions are. I was thinking about a dwarf lion however I wouldnt be able to keep anything else with it would I?
If i was going to get a dwarf angel I would probably get a cherub angel or a flameback angel.
Would a racoon butterfly be ok in a 45G?

Thanks so far

You could keep a dwarf angel and a dwarf lion together (make sure you don't get a larger species of lion, as they will outgrow your tank). It's been done many times and I don't think you'd have any problems. A lion will only pose a threat to inverts like shrimp, and smaller fish... anything that would fit in its mouth (and its mouth is larger than it looks, trust me). If you're going FOWLR with a dwarf lion, I think a flame hawkfish would be a cool tankmate along with the angel.

I'm not entirely sure about the butterfly, but I think most species need a larger tank.

Well I checked the racoon butterfly out and 55G minimum so maybe itsn ot a good idea....

I like the sound of the dwarf lion however I really love little fish like chromis, cardinals and scooter blennies lol.

If I was to go with the dwarf lion how many fish would you keep with it, maybe give me like a guideline of what you would put with it

And if you could do the same if i was going for smaller fish

Thanks alot
