I saw this little guy in the store the other day and just had to have him. The people in the store had no idea what type of fish he was (someone traided him in for another fish). Anyone know what he is?

It stays on the bottom, and eats shrimp. His face is a totally different color than the rest of it's body

just a guess, based on it's body. no clue about the face.

I thought it was some type of stonefish or maybe a toadfish...

in that you'll need a bigger tank, and every time you clean his tank you need bite and scratch resistant gloves

he's actually very sweet, i was cleaning some of my rock today, and he came up to me and sat in my hand haha

all you need is at least a wide 65g with adequate filtration, but only in a couple of years, maybe. IF i was right about the parents

well, he's about 5 inches long right now, but they were selling 5 inch oyster toadfishes too...
