I saw some really cool shots of anthias fish and i have fallen in love with the little guys...does anyone have any info or personal experience with them?
Anthias are deep water fish so the tend to like dimmer larger tanks. I have seen several anthias come through the store and they all seem to be very jumpy. We have had good luck with the Pink Square Anthias in particular. Although they are schooling fish in the wild all of ours beat up on each other in a tank to the point that we had to separate them all so I personally say only one per tank unless you have a very large tank (over 100 gallon).
Thanks and your welcome A 55 gallon might work for one of the smaller anthias but not for multiples and not for some of the larger species. They are really pretty fish though
