I have a porcupine puffer, he is not as active as puffers are known to be, he has just been lounging behind a rock with little movement. I am unsure of what the problem is? If anyone has a porcupine puffer what do you feed him, how much and how often thanx. Help my puffer!

sorry i lerft out a little info in the first post, the puffer is about four inches, new to the tank as are the other 6 fish introduced about 3 days ago. his tankmates that were introduced the same time, yellow tang, morrish idol, naso tang, niger trigger and foxface. an i do have a 4 inch volitan lionfish, they are all acting normal and look healthy. it doesnt appear anyone has been picking on the puffer he's just not moving much

Could be that he's just being shy. I've had fish that I've added that act like that for a week or 2 and then they come out and become part of the tank.

Not sure if all your fish go together, the tangs are going to need a lot of room and LR.
What size is your tank?

Hi porky..welcome to fishlore!!!!!!!! sounds like a beautiful tank..can ya get pics?? hope your puffer is doing better...SW tanks intimidate me so I dont have a clue about them..but they are so mysterious I just love the pics! goodluck
