I have noticed in the past night that I have about 3 ( that I saw) little bug looking things in my tank. they are about 1 centimeter long and are clearish white. They live in my rock and are shooting around my rocks. I don't know if they will harm anything because I don't know what they are. I have 3 baby anenomes(spelling?) on the same rock and I am really enjoying watching them grow. And I am worried that they will be harmed. any help will be appreciated!

that seems to be the coolness about salt water tanks..u find all sorts of new life form..I have not a clue what it is but would love to see a pic..im sure a saltwater expert will help

yes I know, I love my saltwater tank! I have all sorts of things popping up everywhere! I have mussels, anenomes, corals, buggy things, pods just coming out of my live rock. I didnt purchase anything seperately. it is absolutely fascinating! and Im 13 I could be outside getting in trouble but instide I just sit there and stare! haha.

great job at 13 to have a saltwater..im intimidated at 41..would love to see pics sometime of the tank...

I did find out that they are just large pods. thank goodness!

Yeah I was about to say thats most likely what they are is copepods (sp.)... I had a Mandarin Goby once and thats pretty much the only thing they will eat unfortunately....
