question about Dory

Hi guys I'm a newbie in this community and I had my saltwater aquarium for about a year.

It's my first time to introduce a Pacific blue tang (is it correct?) (a small one, about 3 inches) to my aquarium. I've read that they really love to swim a lot (if I'm not mistaken). But the thing is she keeps on hiding in my liverocks. I got a 75g aquarium, and i think it is enough space because i only got 2 false percula clownfish, two bubble tip anemones, a mushroom coral, and a bubble coral. I really don't know if she's stressed or scared or whatever. Does anyone have or had this kind of experience? Or is it just common for Dory to hide always?

Re: question about Dory

If she is a wild caught fish, it will take a few weeks since they aren't used to the tank and everything. I don't have any SW but this is just from what I have read.

Re: question about Dory

I have a Pacific Blue Tang. It took over a week before she came out of the rocks and started eating. I was very worry when I first introduced her to my tank, that she would not survive. Now she the biggest hog in my tank. Eating 80 % of the food before the other fish can get their share. When the lights cycle off, she hides back in the rocks for the night. Don't worry, give her a little time to adjust !
