hi all

i am starting to cycle my marine tank it is 3ft long (140 liters aus)

now i need to know what the water should be

ph = ?

nitriates = ?

nitrites = ?

amonia = 0 (that one know)

specific gravity =?

so as you can see i really need help

if anyone out there can just put into words (easy to understand) the figures it should all be i would be extremely grateful.

i bought a book but it got really complicated and started going into long math problems (not my best subject ever)

so just a list of what i should have everything at would be great.

SG: 1.020-1.022 (fish-only) - 1.023-1.025 (reef)
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: 0.0-30 ppm
calc: 425-450 ppm
Alk: 8-12 dKH
PH: 8.1-8.4
Phos: 0.0
Mag: 1,300 ppm
Iodine: 0.06 ppm
Strontium: 5-15 ppm
