i have a fluval 205, can i put the out let pipe into a v2 400 skimmer ??

so the in take on the fluval sucks in water the live rock and bio balls do there thing in the canister then out goes the better water into the skimmer, skimmed then back into my tank ??

Not sure I understand ...! You want to pre-filter the water with your canister filter, before you skim it ? I don't think it's necessary. Just make sure the skimmer doesn't overflow.
