Saltwater Fish Food - Topics related to the feeding of saltwater fish and invertebrates. It seems like new foods are being introduced all the time for the saltwater aquarium hobby. Pellets, frozen food, freeze dried, flake food and home-made fish foods are very popular. Feeding newly introduced saltwater fish species can sometimes be very difficult. Use this board to discuss your marine fish food issues or tips.

Hello Carlos

well i dont have experience with saltwater, but i can give you the recipe that i make my freshwater fish food.

Cucumbers
Lettuce
Peas
Carrots
Flakes ( the ones that you usually feed them)
Shrimp ( i have a jelly bean so he has protein in his diet. i use the full shrimp eyes and all)

i blend them together and create a fine paste. Then i add the Gelatin Mixture and refrigirate. Once refrigirated and squishy i put it in the freezer. Every feeding i cut out little squares and thaw them. Then i just add them to the tank with their regular flake food. Be sure to Not change their food emmidiatly. Add their normal food and slowly begin introducing the new food while cutting back on the flake food.

hope i helped
