Thats one way but found Fumanchu or other types little more difficult sometimes. Eventually they all ate Fz food as
sgould mentioned and also i found that shrimp/small fish, when on sale from supermarket, was lot cheaper than one that has BRAND Name on it. It's more troublesome since i steamed/cut/chopped, etc but worth the trouble when keeping many carnivorous fish.
Just one carnivorous fish, may not be worth the trouble.
Lions, they tend to overeat thus use your judgement when to skip day or two in case the lion stuffed itself.
Dont let it go starving either. Use your judgement and feed live if and when needed.
It should, soon or later, learn from its tankmates when the meal is served.
Hope I catch some lions this summer! As You probably know, be Careful!
