Saltwater Fish Food - Topics related to the feeding of saltwater fish and invertebrates. It seems like new foods are being introduced all the time for the saltwater aquarium hobby. Pellets, frozen food, freeze dried, flake food and home-made fish foods are very popular. Feeding newly introduced saltwater fish species can sometimes be very difficult. Use this board to discuss your marine fish food issues or tips.

Rod's Fish Food

I've been using a new frozen food for the saltwater tanks the last couple of months called Rod's Food. This stuff is really good. I don't think many places are carrying it yet but if you see some at the local shop pick some up, you'll be glad you did. I'm target feeding my LPS corals at night and during the day the fish go absolutely nuts over this food too. Here is the link to their website if anyone is interested in finding a store near them that carries it.

Here is a partial list of the ingredients in the orange package called the "Complete Reef Food", there are other food varieties but I haven't tried them yet:
Quote:
Shrimp, Scallop, Oyster, Clam, Squid, Octopus, Brine, krill, Mysis, Grouper (or perch), Red Nori, green Nori, Broccoli, carrot, Frozen red plankton, Golden pearl (7 sizes), DTs Oyster eggs, Selco, Fresh hatched brine, Freshly harvested rotifers
