I've been with my
saltwater fish tank 2 years already. And had the same fish since then. 1
blue tang, 1 Four Stripes Damsel, 3 Ocellaris Clownfish, 1 Royal Gramma. In 4 days I've lost all the clowns and the Royal Gramma. After doing some research I got to the conclussion that the cause was Brooklynellosis parasite. My fish have always been in great condition. My water changes are twice a week a 10% everytime (since my fish load is a little high). But suddenly this whole crisis happened in my tank. Since I quarantine everything I buy before I put it in and the all the fish have been healthy, what brought me to think (as supposed by my wife) is that the caulerpa that I buy frequently from my
LFS (since I have the blue tang and emerald crabs that feed on it as well as the shrimps) carried the parasite. Could it be possible? Should I quarantine the Caulerpa everytime I buy it then?. Thanks for any helpful answer.
