Help: blue/yellowtail damsel with spots on the side

fish with spots on them and they didnt have them before... and just notice a couple of hours ago... i have a blue/yellow tail damsel and he is spotting up on the side and dont really know why or what it could be....please help??

What color are the dots? What's the texture of the dots (scaley, fungal/moldy, shiny, etc.)?
