I setup three QT's yesterday for ICH treatment everything is going well but Im not sure about how long I should have the QT lights on... should they be on longer? shorter? or stick with the normal?

Most fish that become ill,tend to hide.It makes them feel more secure,in nature the sick fish would be eaten by the stronger fish.Leaving the lights off,could make them feel more secure,and less stressed while they heal.If it would affect the healing process,I am not certain.It would be more or less a personal choice.

i dont light my qt as it lessens the stress for the fish just like the advice given for acclimatising ,, i also have a few peices of dead rock i use only for qt for fish to hide for smaller fish i use a pipe and this works for me and has done for a couple of years
