My lion is so sick

I am in a deep trouble. I have a small aquarium and I keep a small lion and 1 carpet anemone. This is a new fish . It was apparently healthy but within 2 days my lion is having some fungus type of thing on his left side while the right side is clear. Can you tell me what the disease is and how to treat it.Please see the picture for correct understanding of the problem. Please do something he is not eating and staying in one place and breathing.

I have posted more pictures here please see it and then respond and help me.

Welcome to Fishlore. I'm sorry your lion isn't doing well.
I don't know much about saltwater, but I can get the ball rolling, at least.
There are a few things that the folks here are going to need to help you out.
What are the ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate ratings in the tank?
What's the salinity (specific gravity)?
What's the temperature?

The answers to these questions may help identify the source of the problem, or they may lead to more questions that do so.

you need to get a big tank for the lionfish 8 gals is no home for him he will need AT least a 55 or even bigger...theres a site called dr foster and smith it will have fungus meds that can be used for saltwater tanks... but you really do need to get a bigger tank for him or take him back to the pet store

looks like a fungal infection

i agree with fins get a bigger tank or rehome and also a anemone needs a larger mature tank and could of stung your lion fish ,
The Carpet Anemones are named for their immense size (sometimes more than a meter/yard across) and "pile" of numerous colored tentacles. These are unfortunately very difficult aquarium specimens that "shed", otherwise can/do sting and poison tankmates. Unless you have a HUGE system (hundreds plus gallons of water) and/or a substantial sized system to dedicate to just this one animal (plus possibly host fishes), you are advised to look elsewhere for an anemone species.
