help with long tenticle anemone please!

i have had the tank for about 4 to 5 months now and i noticed about a week ago the long tent. anemone has what looks like little red dots on the tenticles. do you no what that might be?

no i cant get a clear enough shot but it kinda looks like the algae spots on the aquarium glass you no. he hasnt eaten in a few weeks but the LFS said they can go weeks without food if not hngry.
