I'm not setting up a QT so I was wondering how you do a FW dip...I didn't get it when the other people explained it, so I need a better explination please.

I have never heard of this. What is it? What is it for? Did you ever find an answer?

I have about freshwater dip too. Why & how would you do this? It seems like it could more cause stress. I have a parasite on my dogface pufferfish (on 1 of his fins). We have treating the tank with Coppersafe. I did the last treatment last night and it's still not off. How long could it take for the parasite to fall off him?
Our readings as of last night were:
Ammonia is 0, Nitrite is 0, nitrate is 80, salinity is 1.021, pH is 7.8, alkalinity is 300
