What kind of shrimp? Any filtration in your tanks, rocks, sand, etc.

You may need to put some different size shells that is probably why they are fighting.

You must let the rock cure first and usally takes at least 3 weeks or so to complete nitrogen cycle you do know about this yes? By the way if I where you I would get a tank of 20 plus gallons. The bigger the tank the better off you will be in the long run.

Dude doesn't work like that soon as you get LR it must go thru the cycle doesn't matter how fresh the rock is as soon as it hits the synthetic salts some die off accurs and when that happens the nitrogen cycle accurs.I do have to ask if you do understand this cycle?

Well enjoy your critters. Have you looked on Craigslist for a tank you can find them very cheap when they are available?

I wouldn't put live rock, 2 hermits, sand, and a goby in a 1 gallon.
