Where to put the Power Head

My power head is at the top of my aquarium (65 gal 36x18x36). It is LRFO. The power head moves the air all around the tank - I can see the hair algea blowing in the wind. Should it be lower though? Or should I have 2? One high and one low?

What kind of power head is it? For a tank your size it's good practice to have two. One oneach side of the tank directed at each other, flowing over the LR. This helps keep detritus from building up and causing high nutrients, which feeds algae.

Thanx. I am not sure how big the power head is that I have but it looks like the strongest one at Big Als. I talked to the sales guy and he said to get a second smaller one to put at the front on the opposite side, down nearer to the bottom (but pointing above where the blue angel has made its little burrow).

Need a make and model on the powerhead. Yet for a 65 I'd get two of them. Place one high on one end and one low on the other. Do you have a sump to provide extra flow?
