I have recently spotted about 50+ ant like creatures on the glass of my reef tank. They are 1mm-3mm in length. They are slightly furry . Does anyone know if these things are parasitic?

Sorry for the late reply but i googled copepods and they dont seem to look like what i have got. Could they vary in shape and size. I have also noticed that they are more in the sand then on the glass now. Any other ideas as to what these things are?

If they're not copipods, they could be any of the other 'pods.
They are labeled in size order i beleive, this is a link i used a lot to help me ID everything coming off my live rock, including tiny microscopic stuff:

Its got pictures and also tells you a bit about it, and an overall 'good or bad' mark

The pic of the copipods resemble my "ants" more than any other pods so I presume that is what they are, I hope they are.Thanks for all the help with identification!
