Sick ritteri anemone? Pics Added

I just got my tank back in service after a few weeks. All my parameters are good accept nitrates is between 5 and 10 PPM. I added a ritteri anemone after aclimating it for an hr and it was doing great for a few days then over night it just went way downhill. It has also been in the LFS for a few weeks with no sign of weekness. I have metal halides and pretty strong flow. I will post pictures tonight when I get home but the thing went from healthy to shrivled up gruesome looking overnight. Any tips or anyone know if this is normal?

Sorry, I have had the tank for around 11 months and just recently emptied it and put it on a home-made stand and got rid of the canister and switched to a sump. Thats what took the 2 weeks. I had everything from my main tank hangin out in various tanks and rubermaid bins with powerheads. I just moved everything back to the main tank 2 weeks ago.

Ok here is the first few days (lookin good)

Here is when it shrank over night

And now it almost as full as it was 2 days ago. but mouth buldges about once a day.

It looks normal again now (no more "Guts" coming out of his mouth)
Anyone knows if this is just what they do at night or any other reason.
Ive had 2 other anemones before one was dieing when i got it and ended up dieing slowly in my tank. The other i had it for 2 months then got sucked up in my canister, but before that, it never did anything like this.

First I want to say your tank is beautiful!! Love your rock formation. Second, are you familiar with the cycling process?

Ritteri anemone care-*Info from The Marine Center*

One of the most demanding species of anemones in the aquarium, this species is best left to anemone experts who are comfortable with some risk. It is photosynthetic and requires very bright lighting and strong currents. This Anemone can be difficult in even the best-maintained reef aquariums. May benefit from supplemental feeding of finely chopped meaty seafoods in tanks where fish are not fed. Prefers rock substrate, but this is not mandatory. Specimens vary in color, in shades of blue-gray, lavender or greenish. The colors are not too different from one another. Like all anemones, size will vary from smaller when you receive them, to notably larger until they have adjusted to your aquarium for a period of weeks.

Have you tested your tank ?? as moving all the stuff in there would cause a mini cycle and this would definatley make your nem do as it has

Thanks it means alot after all the work. Yes I have been testing it and all the levels seem fine. I think I just freaked out, I guess he was just getting situated haha idk but he seems fine now. I am not expeting it to live 10 yrs after hearing numerous times that they usually dont make it to long. Im just gonna to keep up with the maintence and hope for the best. If it dies it will be my last anemone for a long time. Even after researching marine tanks for almost a year everynight, I stiil consider myself a rook.

Hello Fonz ! I too have a ritteri. These are one of the very few anemone that it's mount will stay open and be perfectly fine. Also while new to a tank, will deflate daily. This will slowly taper off to once or twice a month.
