It's not a fox nose, but a foxface

The foxface rabbitfish is a very shy fish. It will need a bigger companion like a
yellow tang or some sort of tang. Mine use to be scared (in quarantine) whenever I approach the tank, but now it's in my display with the yellow tang and it's never scared anymore.
The thing when it changes color is a sign of stress. When he's scared or stress, he turns brown to camouflage with the rocks. He all so does this at night when he's sleeping.
If he's not eating, try and give him frozen food and leave the room immediately. If he's still not eating, give him nori. Foxface are similar to tangs, they need a lot of algae, but they all so need meat.
note that your fish will get around 9+ inches and it might be to big for your tank eventually.
