if you have never kept a saltwater tank i would suggest not trying to start with a picotope.. I'm not saying it cannot be done but it is a task to keep up with any reef much less one that is able to go awry in hours.. if you want to know the equipment you would need a better light i am sure, with the right spectrums... a
powerhead to move the water.. a heater which you may have... also you will probably need a new substrate and liverock... also with these questions i think you haven't researched reefs or nano/pico reefs nearly enough...
This, if you try it out, will probably be more of a big headache than an enjoyable venture... I would suggest a bigger tank and if you can't afford it you have no real business in trying to keep a reef...
